》 SAMSUNG GALAXY S3 MTK 6575 (500mb RAM)
》 SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 2 MTK 6577 (500MB RAM) clone note 2.
》 13-Feb-2014 GALAXY NOTE 2 N7100 ORIGINAL 16GB Android 4.3 Factory state (not rooted).

This blog will be focused on the latest device; the samsung galaxy Note 2. A hopeful good review and out of the box tweaks and experinces.

A commenter told me.. pictures say more than words so here you go about details.

About device
As you can see, the Model number is GT-N7100 which signifies it is the international version. The Android version is 4.3 which is the latest official release for note 2's. Version 4.4 Kitkat is said to be released during the first half of 2014 for this device.

Status
The Imei Number will be needed when your phone is stolen. But Samsung has devised a clever method to track your phone if stolen. As you can see, these are the details you can expect on an original. I note the device says "unknown" To mobile number.

Security
Samsungs security has a prebuilt tool to encryp your contents so that a theft wont leave you prone to black mail which we have seen quiet a bit. It also features how you can find your phone if stolen. On initial startup, you will be prompted to make these settings and register a Samsung account. An option called remote access which lets you wipe all data on phone remotely and also a lock on SIM change. A good start id say. Next stop:

Storage
Disappointed. A valuable 5GB+ storage is taken for operating the OS. My phone is a 16GB ROM. 2GB Ram but I am left with 9GB of storage space for my needs. I have read that this amount of system space is taken for all samsung notes. Comes the question: the 5GB makes sure the phone is up and running very smooth. High graphics, Spen and ofcourse useless apps. Some factory apps do not work in some countries and there is no option to remove them unless you are root. SD is said to support upto 64gb. I recommend 16 or 32GB max SD card after reading many reviews on SD issues.

System Settings
These settings have changed from how it was displayed back in android 4.2. What we see here is a more catogarized way to fiddle with settings. For some reason, I prefer the 4.2 way but maybe thats because I was using it for a year. There are 4 tabs. This preview is on accounts tab which shows all active accounts.
The MY DEVICE tab shows settings related to tweaking personalization options. It includes the 'block mode', 'power saver' and drive mode options.
A very shifty section. Connectivity tab gives access to all sharing options.
That info should help you in identifying original devices as well.

Prebuilt apps.
1. Chrome browser
First time using it on Android and the experience is amazing. I am blogging from chrome browser even now.

2. Samsung Knox
Samsung knox is in one word, a vault to keep you safe. Knox takes 2 GB to run. It creates a phone within a phone with different phonebook, msgs, apps, etc. Another security feature in a different concept.

3. Snote, Splanner (calender), Suggest, Svoice.
Snote and Splanner are specialized for Spen controls. The Snote is the app that gives the phone its pride. You can setup your phone to open a note when you take Spen out.. have you tried to write down a number while on a call? Cant find a pen or paper when you need it? Well ive been there and done that a lot of times. While on call, if you need to jot down a number, just slip out the spen and you have a quick note on display. You can write your details right there!! Svoice is like Siri on iphone. Not as advanced but very handy.

4. Gapps (google apps).
Includes Hangout, Maps, Gmail, playstore, google+, play music, play games, youtube, play newstand. The preinstalled also included drop box but I wonder why google drive wasnt!. Seeing that I prefer Gdrive better than DropThingBox.

5. Chat-on
Pre installed but I dont use it.
6. Flipboard
Pre installed app for news updates and folloeing
7. FM radio - never used. Radio listening app.
8. Game-Hub
Is the prebuilt app for game centre. Though mine, when opened says update available. When I click yes, it shows details of app and then exits. Have to figure out why and solution. I am sure this will be a good app.
9. Group play to play multiplayer games
10. Learning hub is app to do online studying but my country does not support and I dont use.
11. Readers Hub for reading stuff. Not in use by me.
12. Paper artist is an app to give you quick and nicr edits to your photos. Very handy and easy UI.
13. The apps list also include gallery, music player, and video player. Very fast and UI advanced.

14. Most important to share:
S-PEN

The reason why it got the name. And the reason why I bought this.
Spen gives you easy access to notes and artwork depending on your preferance. It is a handy feature for architects and draftsmen, office workers with boss who have high temper! And in call assistance.
Taking a screen shot means clicking your Spen on screen. Simple enough.

Air View is one of the most discussed features on notes. When the pen is hovered on screen at images or video clips, they will zoom in and show preview.

It lets you take a screen cutout of any info on display of the phone.

As you can see up there. Easy to share a lot of info.
Just click spen and drag your selection.

I hope thats enough for now.
